OUR WORK

CULTIVATING EDUCATION MODEL

The Cultivating Education Model is a methodological proposal for formal education from preschool to high school in rural schools.

Seeds for Progress designed this model as an intervention route that integrates principles, strategies, and didactic resources to improve access, permanence, and quality in the educational system.

Our programs, Seeds to Learn and Seeds to Lead, build upon each other to lead children through an enriching educational path that allows them to grow into confident, enthusiastic, and active community members.

Our model is further complemented by Child Labor Prevention and Technical Formation programs which allow us to address pressing issues and offer alternative means of education in rural communities.

EDUCATION CULTIVATES PROGRESS

We sow the seeds of knowledge, cultivating bright futures and watching them bloom in rural communities.

Each learning stage develops a vital real-life competency that allows students to continue their journey.

Mastering technology, constant infrastructure improvement, and a network of mentors guarantee the successful implementation of the strategies and initiatives, this model adds value to the educational offer for the rural population because it can far exceed the benefits that can be obtained with other educational proposals, energizing a series of distinctive elements such as:

This seasonal program consolidates the different initiatives that Seeds for Progress promotes to offer better opportunities to the children of families who work during the coffee harvest. Our centers prevent child labor and truancy through an integrated model that provides children with specialized care according to their age.

TECHNICAL FORMATION PROGRAM

This program offers technical training and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people, providing an alternative to self-employment or job placement in agriculture, industry, services and technology, administration and commerce.
