We are proud to celebrate the inauguration of new facilities at the School in Sampaquisoy, Mataquescuintla, Jalapa, along with our partner Fabretto Foundation. This milestone was marked by an official ceremony attended by Guatemala’s Minister of Education, Anabella Giracca, who highlighted the importance of creating conducive learning environments for children in rural areas.

The new facilities include a fully equipped classroom, toilets, sinks, a water treatment system, a shower, a management office, and a storage area. These upgrades provide the students with improved infrastructure and essential services, ensuring a healthier, safer, and more effective learning experience.

Minister Giracca extended her gratitude to the local educational community and recognized the critical role that our foundation has played in making this project a reality.

“This event represents an investment in infrastructure and the potential of every child at Sampaquisoy, and reiterates our commitment to this community because we recognize that education can transform lives,” confirmed our Executive Director, Mynor Maldonado.
